What you can count on
- Key Terms box on page 1 of every agreement: fill names, fees, dates and notice periods in one place
- Independent contractor agreement assigns work product to your business and keeps the contractor's own tools and methods theirs
- Signature blocks with By and Printed name and title lines, so you sign as the business, not personally
- Payment plan with a written schedule, grace period, default only after notice, and no waiver when you accept a partial payment
- Three late payment letters with matching sample figures, plus a late-invoice timeline in the Start Here guide
- Your own details use [Your ...] placeholders and the other side's use [Client ...], [Customer ...] or [Other Party ...], so one Find & Replace fills your details without touching theirs
- Numbered clauses, notice addresses for both parties, governing-law and venue placeholders; the multi-page agreements have page X of Y and initials lines in the footer
- Word files to edit and a PDF of each; signature blocks are set to stay together on one page

Before you buy
Can I edit them in Google Docs or Pages?
Yes. Upload a .docx to Google Drive and choose Open with Google Docs, or open it in Apple Pages. The documents use standard fonts, tables and highlighting, no macros or form fields. Every document also comes as a PDF.
Which state are these written for?
None in particular. They are state-neutral and have a [Governing-Law State] placeholder for governing law and a [Venue County, State] placeholder for venue. They do not cite statutes. Some states and trades require extra wording, such as home-improvement or consumer cancellation notices; the Start Here guide flags this.
Are these legal advice?
No. They are plain-English templates, not legal advice. Have an attorney licensed in your state review them before you rely on them, especially for large contracts, consumer customers or questions about whether a worker is a contractor or an employee.
Can we sign them electronically?
Yes. Every document both parties sign (the five agreements, the statement of work, the quote acceptance and the amendment) says it may be signed electronically and in counterparts. Save the finished document as a PDF and send it through any e-signature tool that keeps an audit trail. The Start Here guide has signing tips.
How do I get the files?
Instantly after payment: a download page opens and the link is also emailed to you. The ZIP holds the Word files, a PDF of each and a Start Here guide.
What if it is not what I need?
Email us within 14 days and we refund you. No forms, no questions.
