Questions

Before you buy

Can I edit these in Google Docs or Pages?

Yes. Upload a .docx to Google Drive and choose Open with Google Docs, or open it in Apple Pages or Word. The files use standard tables, text tick boxes and highlighting, no macros. A PDF of every document is included for printing or e-signing.

How do I change the fees, hours and policies?

Every number and choice is a yellow [placeholder] or a tick box: tuition, registration fee, deposit, late pick-up and late payment fees, hours, notice periods, holidays and vacation rules. Use Find & Replace for your daycare name, then work through the rest. The Start Here guide lists common choices and where each one appears, so the contract, handbook and fee schedule match.

Does it follow my state's licensing rules?

It is written to be state-neutral and does not state ratios, group sizes or any regulation. Licensing rules on forms, medication, illness exclusion, safe sleep, drills and records vary by state, so check each document against your state's child care licensing rules. The templates are not legal advice; have a local attorney review the contract before you rely on it.

Is the year-end statement tax advice?

No. It is a record of what each family paid you during the year, with your name, address and tax ID, which parents commonly need for a child care tax credit or a dependent care account. It does not say which amounts qualify. Parents should check current IRS rules or ask a tax professional.

Who is the nanny agreement for?

A family hiring a nanny, or a nanny who wants to offer written terms. It covers guaranteed hours, gross hourly and overtime rates, payroll taxes, paid time off, driving, house rules and notice. The babysitting agreement is a shorter version for occasional sitters.

How do I get the files?

Instantly after payment: a download page opens and the link is also emailed to you. Lost it? Email us and we resend it.

What if it is not what I need?

Email us within 14 days and we refund you. No forms, no questions.
